Meet Tom St. Germain, owner and creative director of St. Germain Studio in Providence, Rhode Island. A lot of Providence’s most stylish ladies see Tom for cuts and color and he also does hair backstage at StyleWeek. Here, Tom and I talk fall hair trends, celebrity hair crushes and career advice.

On the Wednesday evening before StyleWeek I got glammed up at St. Germain Studio. I walked down the cobblestone pathway to the chic purple salon, adorned in vines. I was greeted by the owner, Tom St. Germain, with a lovely glass of red wine (my favorite). When you have an appointment here, you at treated like gold. You are greeted with complimentary tea, coffee, wine, and even beer!

Another season of StyleWeek kicks off with the SEED student designer competition. In honor of the event, Brendan Kirby had the chance to get his hair styled by St. Germain Studio! Owner Tom St. Germain joins The Rhode Show to talk about how he styled Brendan, as well as a look he is loving for women this season!

Ahead of Opening Night of StyleWeek in Providence, Brendan headed downtown to update his look. Following stops at St. Germain Studio and Franklin Rogers, he was ready to go.

Now I recently had my hair done by one Tom St. Germain of St. Germain Studio on Broadway in Providence, and was so impressed with his process and (of course) the end result that I wanted to know more about him and figured you guys would too, so here goes.

After visiting salons that didn’t quite get the message that blonder is better, stylist and owner Tom St. Germain at St. Germain Studio finally delivers shimmering blond locks that have that perfect, sun-kissed look. The salon employs some of the best stylists around, including Lulu Locks and Jill Kashgagian, as well as makeup artist Brandon Ward. It’s like a beauty dream team that makes blond moments a thing to be respected.
